This year’s theme at Windsor Hill is Places, Everyone!  We are excited about using a year-long theme to connect our community of learners.  Watch us as we discover and grow.  You will see the theme- Places, Everyone! in instructional strategies as we advance our exploration of Arts-Infusion and as we use Best Practices in Brain-based Learning.  Helping students to make connections is an excellent learning tool to cement and deepen understanding and knowledge.  You will see our theme of Places, Everyone! as we continue to enhance the learning environment and celebrate cultural diversity.  In classrooms, teachers will work to create safe, nurturing and purposeful settings for learning to take place with clutter-free classrooms, relevant displays and fully functioning work zones.  There will be places for community gatherings and student desks will be arranged to support cooperative learning and collaboration. Places, Everyone! will also provide a vehicle for learning about places and cultures beyond the halls of Windsor Hill.  Through field experiences and strategic use of SMART Board and Video-streaming technologies, our children will be able to venture to any place in the world... and beyond. Providing our children with multi-cultural experiences will help to prepare them as 21^st Century Learners. Most importantly, you will see the theme of Places, Everyone! in the ways that we communicate and interact with each other in order to build positive and productive relationships with our staff, our children, our parents and community stakeholders.  We want every child, staff member, parent and volunteer to feel that they have a special place and a key role in making Windsor Hill an artistic, physical, social, civic and academic place of excellence for all.  Let’s have a great year… Places, Everyone!
